Baking

Remember in October when my niece and nephew stayed with us and we baked? Well, they enjoyed it so much they they convinced their parents to buy them a cookbook specifically for such times:




We picked this weekend to have them come and bake. They each picked one recipe from the cookbook. We went to the new Wal-mart to get the groceries (and I will NOT go back to Wal-mart for groceries, ever, but that's a different story).

My nephew wanted to bake this one:

Apparently Circus Peanuts are seasonal items, so we had to settle for Swedish Fish.

We got started with the prep:


And the kids goofed off a bit:



And the finished products came out okay:
 



The Koi are red, not orange and the pizza sauce is mauve not red. But it truly does look like pizza.
 
All of it tasted yummy! And that's what matters!
